Sushant Singh Rrajput

The man who charmed all of us, the man who became a household name in just a few years is no more. The loss of Sushant Singh Rajput feels so personal. Mainly because he was like all of us, struggling and working his way to the top. We all must know the journey of this superstar. Born in Patna, Rajput was an excellent scholar. He was a national olympiad winner in physics. In 2003, he cracked the Delhi College of Engineering Entrance Examination and 7th across India. Rajput cleared at least 11 engineering exams. But his passion for the industry was such that he dropped out in the third year and joined Shimak Davar's dance classes and Barry John's acting classes. In an interview, he once said that he comes from a family of doctors and lawyers. So not doing well was not an option. He even rejected a scholarship offer from Stanford University! And, with his skills and acting prowess, he didn't disappoint anyone. His big break came in 2008 when he acted in "Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil" and since then, there was no looking back. His show " Pavitra Rishta" in 2009 was super successful. That was the time we saw a young, charming actor with so much potential. His Nestle's Munch commercial was also extremely popular again. Sushant successfully transitioned from small to the big screen, something a lot of actors fail to do. His debut film "Kai Po Che" in 2013 is a commercial and critical success. With back to back hits like "PK", "MS Dhoni-The Untold Story", Sushant became an overnight Superstar and Bollywood A-lister. "Chhichhore" is also a successful movie by Rajput. Yes, there were a few setbacks like "Kedarnath" and "Sonchirya" but his popularity never waned and he continued to rule our hearts.

Now he is not among us and the industry will never be the same again without this brilliant, humble actor. The journey of Sushant Singh Rajput or SSR, As his fans call him is an inspiration for all those who dare to dream big.

"You will be always in our hearts".
